First lady Renea Crozier and the Women With Abundant Life: will have the Third Annual Passionately Pursuing God Womens Conference on June 3-4 at the Charleston Marriott. The theme is Praying the Price and the conference speaker is Latrice Ryan of Light of Glory International Church, Memphis, Tenn. A gospel sing: will be held from 6 to 9 pm today at Elk River Community Center, 902 Main St., Elkview. BrighterSide Quartet and the Believers will perform. Admission is by donation.
Tri-County Singers: will have their monthly sing at 7 pm today at St. John United Methodist Church, 212 D Street, South Charleston. The 2011 Eternal songbook will be used. All Tri-County Music School students and other singers are invited to participate in the shape-note, four-part mass choir singing.
Fisher Memorial Church: will have a gospel sing at 7 pm May 28 at the church, located 1/2 mile on Dudden Road, off the Goldtown Exit of Interstate 77. Jimmie McKnight; Allen Chapel Gospel Choir; Mr. and Mrs. Carl Terrell; Gods Unlimited Soldiers boy choir; and Job Corps Gospel Choir.
Paid in Full Trio: will sing at 7 pm Sunday at Derricks Creek Community Church, located on Derricks Creek Road in Sissonville.
Paradise Island of Christian: will have a its 46th Southern Gospel Sing at 6 pm today and 11 am Sunday at the church, located on Route 80, between Man and Gilbert, near Verner, in Logan County. A Christ-mas giveaway featuring clothing, food and toys, will be held at 1 pm today. Free refreshments. Donations will be accepted. The Passion Trail Footsteps of Jesus will be featured at 10 pm today. On Sunday, a homecoming dinner will be held at 1:30 pm Bring a covered dish, pop and dessert. Free fishing and the playground will be open. MC is the Rev. Tommie R. Cline. Maranatha Baptist Church: will have its 14th Annual Outdoor Gospel Sing: at 7 pm June 3 at the church, located just off the Tuppers Creek Exit of Interstate 77 north of Charleston. Artists include the Praisemen, McCloskey Trio, The John Putnam Family, and Jim Edens. Admission is free and concessions will be available. Bring a lawn chair.
Standing True Trio: will sing at 6 pm Sunday at Parsons Chapel, Sixth Avenue.
The Tignors: will sing at 10 am Sunday at Lick Creek Community Church in Danville. They also will sing at 6 pm Sunday at Garretts Chapel Church in Chapmanville.
Revivals
Nancy Jo and Larry Kidd: will bring the gospel in song at 7 pm today for revival services at Ronda Full Gospel Tabernacle, Cabin Creek.
Metropolitan Baptist, Shiloh Baptist and First Baptist churches: will have a revival at 6:30 pm nightly, Tuesday through Thursday at Metropolitan Baptist Church. Guest minister will be the Rev. John Adolph of Beaumont, Texas.
Revival services: will be held at 7 pm nightly, Monday through May 28 at Holley Memorial Free Will Baptist Church, 245 Pleasant Valley Road, South Charleston. There will be special singing each night.
Special service
Victorious Living Christian Center: now will meet at the La Belle Theater on D Street in South Charleston. Pastors and staff are beginning their third year of ministry. The first service at La Belle will be held at 11 am on Sunday. A song, praise and worship service: will be held today at Sandy Grove Missionary Baptist Church, Aarons Fork Road, Elkview. Dinner will be served at 5 pm and the sing begins at 6 pm Featured singers will be Living Word Quartet and Adam Burdette. Pastor is Chris Sizemore.
Good Shepherd Freewill Baptist Church,: 5470 West Pea Ridge Road, Huntington, will have Sunday school beginning at 10 am, continued with a morning worship service at 11 am with Rev. DJ Scarberry preaching. Services continue at 6 pm with special singing by The Connors and Pastor Jason Black preaching. Revelation Bible Study and Youth Group continues at 7 pm on Wednesday with Raymond Blankenship, Teen Sunday School Teacher, teaching adult Bible study.
Metropolitan Baptist, Shiloh Baptist and First Baptist churches: will have their Mid-Week Manna Services at 6:30 pm Wednesdays. The Upper Kanawha Valley Ministers and Deacon Fellowship: will hold its fourth Sunday fellowship service at 7 pm Sunday at First Missionary Baptist Church, Smithers, where the Rev. Freddie Davenport is pastor. Speaker will be the Rev. Douglas Mullins, pastor of St. John Missionary Baptist Church.

Vacation Bible school
Vacation Bible school: titled Fun in the Son will be featured at 6:30 pm nightly, May 31-June 3 at Family Worship Center, 11815 MacCorkle Ave., Chesapeake.
Vacation Bible school: titled The Shake It Up Cafe — Where Kids Carry Out Gods Recipe, will be held from 6:30 to 8 pm daily, June 13-17 at Cross of Grace Lutheran Church, 30 Grace Drive, Hurricane. Supper is available for those registered from 6 to 6:30 pm for a free will offering. Classes will be held for ages 3-11, plus adults. Registration deadline is June 1. To register, call 304-586-0167.
