Pete Hornberger from 30 Rock tops our list of people we never would have pegged for Doctor Who die-hards, but clearly thats a mistake.
Actor Scott Adsit is one of the experts lined up for a series of Best Of BBC America specials tied to the August 27 mid-season return of Doctor Who.
Adsit joins Ministry of Laughs host Chris Hardwick, G4s Alison Haslip and a slew of other Who-philes for programs devoted to the series famous foes, companions and epic moments.
First up is Doctor Who: Best of the Doctor, Saturday, Aug 13, at 9:00 pm ET, followed by Doctor Who: Best of the Monsters the next Saturday at the same time.
A series of short, behind-the-scenes episode documentaries titled Doctor Who Confidential will air Friday, Aug. 26, after their respective Season 6 episodes, starting at 9:00 pm ET.
Doctor Who returns Aug. 27, 9:00 pm ET, with Lets Kill Hitler, after which the final special, Doctor Who: The Best of the Companions, will air.
Might we be more excited for the mid-season return of Doctor Who than the Season 6 premiere? Its quite possible.
