First Financial Bank of Abilene will have five drive-thru lanes and a deposit-taking ATM at its planned ninth full-service branch in Abilene.

A groundbreaking will take place Monday afternoon for the branch office to be built at 1801 Antilley Road.

We are pleased to announce plans for a new, state-of-the-art bank building that is designed to accommodate growth in south Abilene, said Ron Butler, the banks president and chief executive officer, in a statement.

The 5,530-square-foot building will open in mid-2012, the bank said in a statement.

The Abilene bank is part of First Financial Bankshares, a financial holding company with 11 separately chartered banks. First Financial Bankshares is a publicly traded company.

We are committed to growing the companys footprint, both by expanding the number of branch offices and by making strategic acquisitions of other banks, said Scott Dueser, chairman, president and CEO of First Financial Bankshares, in a statement. We look forward to serving our customers at this beautiful new facility in south Abilene.
